Шале в Буковелі turned out to be a real gem for our family vacation in the Carpathians. This four-star hotel is located on участок Щивки in Palyanytsya, and I can say it’s hard to imagine a better place for a getaway. When we arrived in winter, there was a magical atmosphere all around — snow-covered fir trees, crisp mountain air, and that special scent of wood that immediately creates a cozy feeling. Parking is free (which is very important since you can leave your car right at the entrance), and the staff greeted us very warmly, even helped us carry our skis inside.
The rooms really remind you of a genuine Alpine chalet — wooden walls, cozy furniture, and wonderful views from the windows. The soundproofing is decent, though sometimes you can hear children running in the hallway (but it’s not critical). The breakfasts are delicious and hearty — lots of homemade dishes, fresh syrniki, and aromatic coffee, which is especially important after morning skiing. In summer it’s probably wonderful here too — from the balcony you can see the green slopes and imagine how pleasant it must be to breathe here after the city hustle. The only slight inconvenience is that you need to drive to the ski lifts (about 10-15 minutes), but this is compensated by the hotel’s peace and quiet.
Overall, Шале в Буковелі is a place you want to return to. The 8.0 rating is well-deserved, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine mountain vacation without unnecessary pretense, but with proper comfort.
