Шале Green Land turned out to be a pleasant discovery during our skiing trip — a three-star hotel that doesn’t pretend to be luxurious but does everything right. Located on Rosysh Street, a bit removed from the main hustle and bustle of Bukovel, which is actually a plus — it’s quiet at night, and it’s still not far to the lifts (10-15 minutes on foot, or you can use the shuttle). There’s private parking, though spots aren’t always available during peak weekends — better to arrive before Friday afternoon if you’re going for the weekend.
The rooms are clean and cozy, with that pleasant wooden atmosphere you expect from a chalet. Hot water was always available, heating worked without complaints even during February frosts. The staff is friendly and really tries to help — they quickly helped us with drying our ski equipment and advised where to buy a ski pass with a discount. Breakfasts are decent (nothing special, but filling), but for dinner it’s better to go into the village — there are more options and it’s more interesting there.
Overall, for the money it’s a solid choice, especially if you don’t need all that glamour of five-star places. The hotel operates year-round, and they say it’s also nice in summer — there’s a terrace with mountain views. The only downside — WiFi is a bit slow, but when you have such scenery around, it’s not critical. The 8.0 out of 10 rating is well deserved — we’d come back again.
