Salut turned out to be a pleasant surprise during our skiing trip to Bukovel. This four-star hotel is located slightly away from the main hustle — which is actually a plus, because it’s quiet at night, and it’s still close to the lifts (7-10 minutes on foot). Parking is free and quite spacious, which is rare for this area. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly, although not everyone speaks English.
The rooms are decent — not luxurious, but clean and with everything necessary. We had a standard double with a balcony that offered a nice view of the slopes. The heating worked well (important in winter!), hot water was always available. Wi-Fi is a bit slow, but fine for a vacation. The hotel restaurant cooks well, portions are large — just what you need after a day on the slopes. Breakfast is good, though the selection isn’t huge. I especially liked the borscht on the lunch menu — authentic, homemade.
What I really loved was the peaceful atmosphere of hotel Salut. People don’t party until morning here (unlike some neighboring hotels), so you can get a proper night’s sleep before a skiing day. In summer, I think it would be wonderful too — surrounded by forests, clean air. The price is reasonable for Bukovel, especially considering how much is included. We’d come back here again without hesitation.
Travelers should book a hotel in Bukovel at least two months ahead for major events such as ski competitions and mountain festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular mountain attractions.
