First off, you’re on Strada Păducelului – which honestly sounds more intimidating than it is – but it’s this quiet residential street that somehow puts you close to everything without the tourist chaos. The whole safari theme could’ve been cheesy, but they went subtle with it. Think tasteful animal prints and warm earth tones instead of plastic giraffes everywhere.

What really struck me was how they’ve figured out the family travel puzzle. The villas themselves are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over suitcases and kids’ stuff, plus there’s actual storage space (revolutionary concept, I know). Park Aventura is literally right there, which means you can tire out the kids on the adventure courses before dinner – genius planning on their part. And here’s something I didn’t expect: the soundproofing is surprisingly good. Even with other families around, evenings stay pretty peaceful. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, not just a mini-fridge and a prayer. I mean, you can actually cook a real meal if you want to save some lei or if someone’s being picky about Romanian food.

The staff clearly knows the area inside and out, which makes a huge difference when you’re traveling with kids. They’ll tell you which trails around the zoo are stroller-friendly, what time the crowds thin out at Park Aventura, and – this was clutch – where to find a pharmacy that’s open late. Check-in was smooth, parking’s included (and trust me, you want that confirmation in writing in this part of Brașov), and they genuinely seem to care about making families comfortable. The 9.4 rating isn’t just because everything’s new and shiny – though it is well-maintained. It’s because they’ve thought through what families actually need when they’re exploring this part of Romania. Sure, it’s not the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but honestly? When you’re wrangling kids and trying to see everything Brașov has to offer, comfort and location trump marble bathrooms every time.
