Sadyba u Anastasijky
Sadyba u Anastasijky is a real gem for those seeking an authentic Carpathian getaway. Located in the village of Synevyr (near the famous lake), this three-star guesthouse impresses with its homey atmosphere and the hosts’ hospitality. When we arrived in autumn, Anastasia personally greeted us and told us about all the interesting places in the area — from Lake Synevyr to the best hiking trails. The rooms are simple but very clean, with everything you need, and most importantly — with an incredible mountain view from the window.
The breakfasts here are something special! Homemade cottage cheese pancakes, fresh eggs from their own chickens, aromatic tea made from Carpathian herbs — everything is served in a cozy dining room with wooden furniture. The hosts are very attentive: when we mentioned wanting to leave early for the lake, Anastasia prepared a bag with sandwiches and a thermos of tea for us. There’s parking right by the guesthouse (free of charge), which is very convenient for those traveling by car. The only thing — it can get a bit chilly in the evenings even in summer, so it’s worth bringing something warm.
What I especially loved was the genuine Carpathian atmosphere without the tourist hustle and bustle. In the evenings, you can sit on the terrace listening to the sounds of nature, or warm up by the fireplace in the common room. The hosts are happy to share local legends and help plan routes. For this price and such treatment — it’s really a great option for a peaceful mountain retreat. We’ll definitely return here again!
Travelers should book a hotel in Bukovel at least two months ahead for major events such as ski competitions and mountain festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular mountain attractions.
