Sadyba Margaryta was a real discovery for me during my last trip to Truskavets. This cozy three-star hotel is located on Richky Street, a bit away from the main hustle and bustle, which turned out to be a big plus — quiet at night, but only about a ten-minute leisurely walk to the mineral water pump room. The staff is very friendly, especially the girl at reception who gave detailed information about all the procedures and city routes. Check-in went smoothly, even though I arrived a bit earlier than the official time.
The room turned out to be more spacious than I expected — a large balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard where apple trees grew (actually, in autumn this was particularly picturesque). The furniture isn’t brand new, but everything is clean and functional, WiFi worked without complaints. The bathroom had hot water constantly, which doesn’t always happen in Truskavets in older buildings. Breakfasts are quite simple but tasty — homemade cheese pancakes, omelets, fresh vegetables from their own garden. I liked that you could arrange for a late breakfast when returning from morning treatments.
Parking is free right at the hotel (a big plus for those traveling by car), though there aren’t that many spots, so it’s better to give advance notice about arriving with a car. The owners gave useful advice about the best mineral water sources and recommended a wonderful local eatery nearby. The atmosphere here is homey and warm — you feel not like you’re in a hotel, but as if you’re visiting good friends. For this price and level of service, Sadyba Margaryta is definitely worth considering, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful place for a wellness vacation.
