Sadyba Iryna turned out to be a real gem in the Carpathians — a three-star guesthouse that feels more like a welcoming home than a regular hotel. Located on Ivana Franka street in Tukhlya village, it’s surrounded by picturesque mountains and pine trees that fill the air with an incredible aroma. The hostess Iryna greets guests personally — it’s very pleasant after a long drive from the city. The rooms are simple but very cozy, with wooden furniture and bright embroidered towels on the walls. Parking is free right next to the house (which is rare for mountain areas), and wi-fi works even better than I expected.
The breakfasts here are a separate story: homemade bread, fresh eggs from their own chickens, honey from the local apiary, and incredibly delicious sour cream. Iryna always asks what you like and prepares exactly that. In summer you can have breakfast on the terrace with mountain views, and in winter — by the fireplace in the cozy dining room. By the way, it’s especially beautiful here in winter when everything is covered with snow, but it’s better to check the road conditions in advance. The only downside — sometimes you can hear roosters in the morning (but for me it added authenticity). The nearest hiking trails are 15 minutes on foot, and thermal springs are 20 minutes by car. For this price and with an 8.0 rating — it’s really a great choice for those seeking genuine Carpathian hospitality.
