Садиба “ЯНА” became a real discovery for me during my last trip to Slavske. Located on Danyla Halytskyi street, this cozy three-star guesthouse perfectly combines homey comfort with mountain charm. The owners are very welcoming people who greet guests like family. Check-in was quick (we arrived around 3:30 PM), and they immediately showed us around — from the rooms to the summer gazebo where you can sit with a cup of coffee after a skiing day.
The rooms are small but thoughtfully designed: everything necessary for a skier’s rest is there — a clothes dryer, comfortable beds, hot water 24/7. I especially loved the view from the window of the slopes and forest — in winter it’s just magical! Breakfasts are homemade and generous (borscht, cheese pancakes, fresh bread), though the selection is limited — but that’s rather a plus since everything is tasty and natural. Parking is free right next to the house, which is very convenient, especially when you’re carrying ski equipment.
What impressed me most was how quiet it is in the evenings — even during peak season you can’t hear noise from neighboring rooms. It’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the lifts (or 5 minutes by car), and not far to Slavske center either. The hosts are always ready to suggest where it’s better to ski, which slopes are safest — you can feel they genuinely care about their guests. The only downside is that Wi-Fi is a bit weak in some rooms, but isn’t that good for a proper mountain getaway? I’ll definitely return here next winter!
