Just got back from САДИБА та ЧАН “NA PAGORBI” and I can say — this is truly a special place for a Carpathian getaway! This three-star establishment is located on Svobody Street in Yaremche, and from first glance you understand why it’s called “on the hill” — the mountain views from here are simply incredible. We arrived in the evening, and the hosts welcomed us very warmly, showed us the room and told us about all the recreation possibilities. There’s parking right by the guesthouse, which is very convenient, especially when you’re carrying lots of stuff for a mountain vacation.
What impressed me most, of course, was the hot tub — after a whole day of hiking in the mountains, it’s pure bliss! You sit in the warm water under the starry sky, surrounded by silence and fresh mountain air — hard to imagine better relaxation. The rooms are quite comfortable, though not luxurious (but it’s a three-star place, what to expect), everything necessary for an overnight stay is there. Breakfasts are homemade and delicious — especially loved the local cheeses and meat dishes. The hosts gave tons of useful advice on where to go hiking, where the best views are, and even helped organize transport to the ski lift.
The only downside — in summer it can be a bit noisy from other vacationers, especially in the evenings around the hot tub, but that’s more a feature of the guesthouse format than a real problem. The 8.0 rating is well deserved — for this price it’s a wonderful option for those who want an authentic Carpathian vacation with a homey atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back here in autumn, they say it’s especially beautiful in October when the leaves change color.
