Садиба «Кришталь» turned out to be a real gem during my recent Carpathian trip. Located in the picturesque village of Krivorovnya in Верховинський район, this three-star estate impresses with its authenticity and coziness. The owners clearly put their heart into every detail — from handcrafted wooden furniture to genuine Hutsul rugs on the walls. Check-in was quick and friendly (the hosts personally greet guests), and the room turned out to be simple but very clean with a wonderful mountain view.
What particularly pleased me was the ability to park right on the estate grounds, which is rare for these parts. Breakfasts here are homemade with local products: genuine Hutsul butter, their own cheese, homemade bread. The only downside — walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are active, you can hear it. But in winter it’s magically beautiful here, and in summer you can admire the alpine meadows. The hosts gladly share stories about local trails and can arrange transfers to popular tourist spots.
Overall, for the money it’s a wonderful place for those seeking genuine mountain atmosphere without unnecessary pretense. The 8.0 rating is well deserved — the estate has its own character and truly provides a feeling of homey warmth among the Carpathian peaks.
