S’Vitt turned out to be a pleasant discovery in Skhidnitsa — when I first saw this three-star hotel on Chornovola Street, I didn’t expect anything special, but I was wrong. The location is very convenient: literally a five-minute walk to the resort center, and there are several small shops nearby where you can buy everything you need. Parking is free right at the hotel — that’s a big plus, especially in summer when Skhidnitsa is packed with tourists. The reception staff is friendly, though check-in started a bit later than the promised time (but that’s typical for many local hotels).
The rooms are clean and quite spacious, the furniture may not be brand new but it’s in good condition. The bathroom is compact, but everything works like clockwork — hot water was always available, which isn’t always guaranteed in this region. Sound insulation is decent: I only heard neighbors once in the evening when they were probably celebrating something until late at night. Wi-Fi works stably even on upper floors, speed is fine for video calls. The only thing that was slightly disappointing — the air conditioner was quite noisy, but in October that wasn’t critical anymore.
Breakfasts at S’Vitt are quite decent — nothing fancy, but tasty and filling. The meat products are local, bread is fresh, coffee is okay (though espresso lovers should better go to the café nearby). Overall, for this price it’s a very good option for those who aren’t looking for luxury but simply want to sleep comfortably after a day spent at mineral waters or hiking in the mountains. I would come back here again, especially in autumn — it’s quieter and more atmospheric then.
