Рукавичка is a cozy three-star hotel in the heart of Yaremche that truly lives up to its name with its warm, homey atmosphere. Located on Pidskalna Street 19, it’s literally just a few minutes’ walk from the main tourist trails and waterfalls. When I arrived in autumn, the staff greeted me very warmly — check-in was quick, though I should mention that parking is somewhat limited (especially during high season in summer and winter). The rooms are clean and functional with nice mountain views, although the walls aren’t very thick — I could hear neighbors early in the morning.
What I particularly loved was the hotel’s location. In the morning, you can walk to Probiy waterfall in literally 10 minutes, and in the evening return to enjoy the mountain tranquility. The staff is very helpful regarding local trails — they recommended several less touristy paths that turned out to be real gems. Breakfast is simple but tasty, featuring local products. WiFi works reliably, which was important for me. The only thing to note is that it can get a bit chilly in the rooms during winter, so it’s better to bring warm clothes. Overall, for its price, this is a wonderful base for exploring the Carpathians, especially if you value authentic mountain atmosphere over luxury amenities.
