Romantik Spa Hotel in Yaremche turned out to be a real gem for our autumn trip to the Carpathians. This four-star hotel is located on Svobody Street, which is very convenient — about fifteen minutes’ leisurely walk to the city center, and literally within reach of the main tourist routes. Parking is free (which is quite rare during peak season), but spaces aren’t always available, so it’s better to arrive by evening. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and speaks Ukrainian, which is pleasant.
The rooms are truly comfortable — we stayed in a standard double room, with enough space and a small balcony overlooking the mountains. The plumbing is new, hot water is constant, which is important after long walks. The spa area was a nice bonus: the sauna operates on a schedule, the pool is small but clean, and massage treatments need to be booked in advance. The only downside — you can hear the neighbors through the walls a bit, but it’s not critical.
Breakfasts are varied, featuring traditional Carpathian dishes alongside standard hotel fare. We especially enjoyed the pancakes with brynza cheese — authentic and delicious. The location of Romantik Spa Hotel allows easy access to waterfalls, the lift to Bukovel (40 minutes by car), and in winter it’s absolutely perfect for skiers. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent, we’ll definitely return here again, perhaps even for the winter holidays.
Carpathian hotels showcase the perfect blend of mountain hospitality and modern comfort, with many offering wellness services and genuine Carpathian cultural experiences.
