The name’s a bit of a mouthful (those Polish property names, right?), but don’t let that put you off. It’s tucked away on Ornak street, which is actually perfect because you’re close enough to walk to Krupówek in about five minutes, but far enough that you won’t hear the tourist crowds stumbling back from the bars at 2 AM.

The apartments themselves are what got me – they’ve managed to blend that traditional Podhale mountain style with modern comfort without making it feel like a theme park. You know how some places try too hard with the regional décor and end up looking like a folk museum? Not here. The wooden details feel authentic, the balconies actually have decent views (I could see the Tatras from mine), and honestly, that jacuzzi situation is no joke. After a day of hiking or dealing with the summer crowds on Krupówek, sinking into hot water while looking out at the mountains… well, it’s pretty much perfect. The apartments are spacious too – I mean, you’re not tripping over furniture trying to get to the bathroom, which has happened to me in other Zakopane places that shall remain nameless.

What really sold me though was the practical stuff. Parking’s sorted, which anyone who’s driven around Zakopane in peak season will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The check-in was smooth – none of that “sorry, your room isn’t ready even though it’s 4 PM” nonsense. And the location, I can’t stress this enough, is clutch. Five minutes to Krupówek means you can easily grab dinner or hit the shops, but you’re also perfectly positioned for heading up to Gubałówka or catching transport to the trails. Plus, there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that feels more like a stylish apartment than a hotel room – you’ve got space to actually unpack and settle in, especially nice if you’re doing more than just a quick weekend trip. The 9-star rating doesn’t surprise me at all; it’s one of those places where you can tell someone actually thought about what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos.
