So I stumbled across REST ZONE while driving through the Kłodzko Valley last spring, and honestly? It’s one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret. These aren’t your typical mountain chalets – they’re tucked away in Ściegny, which most people haven’t heard of, but that’s actually the whole point. You know how some places try too hard to be “boutique”? This isn’t that. It just… is.
The chalets themselves feel like someone’s architect friend designed their dream mountain getaway and then decided to share it. Each one’s got this modern-rustic thing going on that actually works – floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Sudeten peaks, but also these cozy wood-burning stoves that you’ll actually want to use. I mean, the name “REST ZONE” sounds a bit generic, but once you’re there sprawled on one of their oversized sofas watching fog roll through the valleys, it makes perfect sense. The whole setup is dead quiet except for the occasional hiker passing by on the trail that cuts through the property. Check-in was refreshingly simple too – no stuffy lobby routine, just genuine folks who clearly know every hiking trail and local restaurant worth your time.
What really sold me was waking up to complete silence except for birds, then realizing I could walk to Radków’s old church ruins in twenty minutes or drive to the paper mill museum in Duszniki-Zdrój (weird but fascinating) in half an hour. The location puts you right in the sweet spot where you can hit the proper Sudeten trails without dealing with Karpacz crowds, but you’re not completely isolated either. There’s decent cell service, the Wi-Fi actually works, and parking’s never an issue – which, if you’ve ever tried finding a spot in Zakopane during ski season, you’ll appreciate. The only minor thing is that groceries mean a drive to Kłodzko, but honestly, after a day hiking around Błędne Skały or exploring the underground passages in nearby Radków, cooking dinner while watching sunset hit the mountains felt pretty perfect. That 9.4 rating isn’t just because it’s new and shiny – it’s because someone clearly thought through what people actually want from a mountain escape and delivered exactly that.

We had a great family vacation staying in both chalets. The place is very cozy and private, located away from other houses, which gave us a real feeling of peace and quiet. The chalets have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The town of Karpacz is nearby — we went there by car and really enjoyed hiking in the mountain nature reserve. Beautiful views, fresh air, and lots of trails to explore.
Perfect spot for relaxing and also for active days in nature. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay!

What could be improved: As a minus I give the smelly bathroom waste, which spread throughout the house. After opening the window in the bathroom, the rest of the house did not smell. The worst is the location (the smell in the area is probably due to the warehouse, the access road (mud). There is no possibility to go anywhere for a walk in the area. However, the worst was the smell outside (as shit and from the chimney of the surrounding houses). Not possible to breath fresh air. It is the shame, because the challet is nice, bur the smell and ugly area is taking out the possitive vibe from the holiday

Cudowne miejsce,domki świetnie wyposażone(ekspres do kawy,zelazko,suszarka,zmywarka itd),bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem,przepiękny widok,spokój,cisza.

Rewelacyjne miejsce z niepowtarzalnymi widokami. Domki urządzane w stylu alpejskim co daje świetny klimat. Domki znajdują się na uboczu wsi przyległej do Karpacza co jest wielkim plusem - mamy spokój i ciszę z dala od zgiełku, a jednocześnie można wszędzie szybko dojechać. W domkach jest wszystko co potrzebne, są świetnie urządzone, przytulne i przestronne. Otoczenie domków jest schludne i ze smakiem. Gospodarze są mili i pomocni w każdej sytuacji. Polecam! Warto 🥰

Spokojne miejsce, piękny widok na Śnieżkę, wschody i zachody słońca, komfortowy domek, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Udany pobyt. Bardzo polecam!!!

Przede wszystkim widoki, okolica, cisza, spokój, czystość. Domek leży w bardzo fajnym miejscu, na tyle blisko atrakcji aby nie tracić czasu na dojazdy i na tyle od nich daleko aby uniknąć turystycznego zgiełku. Z okien roztacza się uroczy widok na pasmo Karkonoszy. Domek jest czysty, nowy i komfortowy. W sam raz na 4-osobową rodzinę.

Super miejsce, domki czyściutkie, dużo przydatnego wyposażenia na miejscu, okolica cicha z ładnymi widokami, więc jak ktoś chce sobie odpocząć od miastowego zgiełku i pośpiechu to tutaj na pewno mu się to uda :D Bardzo polecam! Blisko jest też do wielu atrakcji, szlaków i ciekawych miejsc, więc aktywnie też można poodpoczywac :)
