RentPlanet – Luksusowe Apartamenty Goszczyńskiego
You know what struck me first about RentPlanet’s place on Goszczyńskiego? The building itself feels surprisingly solid for apartment rentals – none of that flimsy tourist accommodation vibe you sometimes get in Zakopane. I mean, when you’re at apartment 46, you’re high enough up that the morning sounds from the street don’t really bother you, but you can still hear the church bells from the center, which honestly became my favorite wake-up call.
The luxury tag isn’t overselling it, though I’d call it more “comfortable elegance” than flashy. The kitchen actually has decent counter space (rare in Polish apartments, trust me), and whoever picked out the furniture knew what they were doing – everything’s sturdy and looks good without trying too hard. What I really appreciated was the heating system actually working properly. You’d be surprised how many places in the Tatras region struggle with that, especially during shoulder season when it’s not quite winter but definitely not warm. The bathroom’s got this great rainfall shower head, and the water pressure is solid, which after a day hiking around Morskie Oko or dealing with the crowds at Krupówki, you really need that proper rinse-off.
Location-wise, here’s the thing about Goszczyńskiego street – it’s residential enough that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos, but you can still walk to the main drag in about ten minutes. There’s a little market just down the street where locals actually shop (not the overpriced tourist spots), and if you’re heading to the cable car for Kasprowy Wierch, it’s a pretty straightforward route. Parking’s included, which in Zakopane is basically gold – seriously, trying to find street parking near the center during peak season is a nightmare. The building’s got this small courtyard area too, nothing fancy, but it’s nice to sit out there with morning coffee when the weather’s decent. I stayed here in late September, and honestly, the whole setup felt more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than staying in typical tourist accommodation. The 8-rating makes total sense – it’s not perfect (the WiFi got a bit spotty during evening hours, probably when everyone in the building was streaming), but it delivers on what matters most when you’re using Zakopane as your base for exploring the mountains.
