RentPlanet – Apartamenty Bulwary Słowackiego

So I stayed at this RentPlanet place on Bulwary Słowackiego last spring, and honestly? It’s one of those spots that just works. The apartment-style setup means you’re not crammed into some tiny hotel room – you actually get space to spread out, which is clutch when you’re in Zakopane for more than a quick weekend trip.

The location is what really sold me though. You’re literally on the Bulwary, which if you don’t know Zakopane well, is basically this tree-lined avenue that runs along the river. I mean, you can hear the water from some of the units, and there’s something weirdly soothing about that after a day of hiking or dealing with the crowds on Krupówki. Speaking of which – you’re close enough to walk to all the main action (maybe 10 minutes to the heart of the tourist strip), but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. The building itself is pretty modern, nothing fancy but clean and well-maintained. Check-in was smooth – they actually use a key code system for the main entrance, which took me a minute to figure out but makes sense once you get it.

What I really appreciated was how the apartments feel like, well, actual apartments. Full kitchen setup, proper living area, decent WiFi that didn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I’ve stayed. The whole RentPlanet operation seems pretty well-organized – they’re not trying to be boutique or anything, just solid, functional accommodation that works for families or groups. Parking can be a bit of a dance during peak season (July-August gets absolutely nuts in Zakopane), but there’s usually something within a block or two. The 8/10 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but you know what you’re getting, and it delivers. I’d definitely book here again, especially if I was coming with a group or planning to cook some meals instead of eating out every night. For the price point and the location, it hits that sweet spot where you feel like you found a good deal without compromising too much on comfort.
