The rooms are genuinely comfortable (not just Instagram-pretty), and honestly, the beds are better than what you’ll find at twice the price in Bucharest. What really got me was how the staff actually knows the area – like, they’ll tell you the best time to hit the salt mine when it’s less crowded, or point you toward this little bakery that locals go to instead of the touristy spots. The location puts you close enough to the salt mine that you can walk there easily, but far enough that you’re not dealing with daytime crowds right outside your window.
