Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with tourist attractions, but it’s got this authentic Romanian small-city feel that’s getting harder to find. The Ramada serves as a really solid base if you’re exploring the region (the Carpathians are gorgeous and way less crowded than other areas), or honestly, if you just want to experience Romania without the tourist bubble. The staff seems genuinely helpful with local recommendations too – they pointed me toward this fantastic traditional restaurant about ten minutes away that I never would have found otherwise. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you stay here; it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. For the price point and location, you’re getting honest value and a comfortable stay in a part of Romania that feels refreshingly real.
