Overview
You know what struck me first about Przystanek Karpacz – Apartament Roma? The location is actually perfect without trying too hard to be perfect, if that makes sense. Right on Karkonoska street, which honestly is one of those addresses that sounds fancy but is really just practical – you’re close enough to everything that matters in Karpacz without being stuck in the tourist chaos that hits the main square during peak season.
The apartment itself has this comfortable, lived-in quality that I wasn’t expecting. I mean, it’s clean and well-maintained (obviously), but there’s something refreshingly un-sterile about it. The kind of place where you can actually spread out your hiking gear without feeling like you’re messing up some designer showcase. And speaking of hiking – this is where the location really shines. You’re basically positioned perfectly for hitting the Karkonosze trails early morning before the crowds arrive, but you can also walk to those little local spots for dinner without needing to drive anywhere. There’s this great pierogi place maybe ten minutes on foot that most tourists miss because they stick to the hotel restaurants.
What really sold me on this place though was the practical stuff that nobody talks about until it goes wrong. The parking situation is actually sorted – not always a given in Karpacz, trust me. The check-in was straightforward, no drama. And here’s something I appreciated: the place stays pretty quiet even when the town gets busy during winter ski season or those summer hiking weekends. You get the sense that Roma (the host, I assume?) actually understands what travelers need versus what they think they want. The 8.5 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort experience, but it delivers on everything that actually matters when you’re using Karpacz as your base for exploring the mountains. Honestly, I’d book it again without hesitation, which is saying something because I’m usually the type to try somewhere different each time.

The location of the property is perfect if you are planning to hike in Giant Mountains and looking for a base. Off road parking in Karpacz is additional bonus. We parked our car on arrival and didn't have to move it until it was time to leave. The kitchenette is small but decently equipped considering property limited space. There's even micro dishwasher fitted and coffee machine available!! If you are not after luxury and can want only bed to rest between hikes this is perfect choice.
What could be improved: The apartment is very small. It was ok for 2 adults that spent most of the time outdoors. However I would not enjoy staying there as a group of 4. Prior to our arrival I asked for 2 separate beds / sets of bedding to which host replied that it is always their practice. However on arrival only one bed had the bedding set up. I had to sleep under a blanked during the first night. When queried hosts explained that I can find spare bedding under the sofa bed. Neither myself nor my friend I was travelling with would have guessed that. It may be obvious if you live in Poland but for someone travelling from abroad it is not a normal practice. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom so the floor got wet easily with every shower. About 5 meters opposite the building entrance there is a drop followed by a fence with sharp spikes. Anyone not careful there can be at risk of serious injuries. I would not allow my children to spend time there without constant direct supervision. Perhaps some form of barrier or fence would solve this problem.

Przepiękny widok z okna, idealna lokalizacja, apartament mały, ale przytulny. W pełni wyposażona kuchnia i wygodna łazienka. Przemili właściciele! Polecam :)
What could be improved: Jedyną wadą jest brak przypisanego parkingu w okolicy budynku i apartamentu.

Miejsce godne polecenia, mimo że pierwsze wrażenie średnie, to potem już tylko same pozytywy☺️ poranny widok na góry😃, blisko do Kościoła Wang i na szlak na Śnieżkę, bo o to nam chodziło, blisko sklep i restauracje... Sama kwatera ma wszystko co potrzebne dla nas. Mała, ale bardzo fajnie pomyślana ☺️ świetny kontakt z właścicielami i bezproblemowy meldunek. No cóż...tylko przyjeżdżać!
What could be improved: Jedyne czego mi brakowało to prozaicznej suszarki na naczynia, bo nie używałam zmywarki, ale dało się radę!

Jeśli szukasz idealnego miejsca na wypoczynek w Karpaczu, To mieszkanie to strzał w dziesiątkę! Przepiękna lokalizacja w otoczeniu gór sprawia, że można tu naprawdę odpocząć od codziennego zgiełku. Domek jest bardzo przytulny, czysty i w pełni wyposażony – znajdziesz tu wszystko, czego potrzeba do komfortowego pobytu. Lokalizacja mieszkanka jest obok głównego szlaku na śnieżkę.
