Przycup w Karkonoszach Apartamenty Karkonosze, Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba- Sauna Fińska
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Przycup w Karkonoszach Apartamenty Karkonosze, Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba- Sauna Fińska,” I thought someone had a field day with the keyboard. But once you get past that mouthful (locals just call it Przycup), this place on Tęczowa Street is actually something special. It’s tucked away in Marczyce, which honestly most people haven’t heard of, but that’s exactly why it works. You’re getting all the Karkonosze mountain access without the tourist circus that hits Karpacz and Szklarska Poręba proper – I mean, you can literally see both towns from here, but you’re not dealing with their weekend crowds.
The whole setup feels like someone’s mountain-obsessed cousin decided to create the perfect base camp. The apartments are proper spacious (not those cramped hotel boxes), and you know what really sold me? That Finnish sauna. After spending a day hiking the Karkonosze trails – and trust me, they’ll humble you – sinking into that sauna heat is borderline religious. The owners clearly know their stuff because it’s not some afterthought addition; it’s properly built, gets seriously hot, and there’s actually space to stretch out. Plus, the timing works perfectly since most people are out during the day, so you’re not fighting for sauna time. The mountain air hits different when you step out too, especially in the evenings when it gets crisp.
What really gets me is how this place sits in the landscape. Marczyce isn’t trying to be anything fancy – it’s just this quiet village that happens to be perfectly positioned between two major mountain towns. You can drive to either Karpacz or Szklarska Poręba in about fifteen minutes when you want the restaurants or ski lifts, but come back to actual peace and quiet. The parking situation is refreshingly simple (just pull up, no drama), and I never had issues with noise except for the occasional early morning bird situation, which honestly feels right for a mountain stay. The 9.6 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just works the way it should. The check-in was straightforward, the apartment had everything I actually needed (good wifi, real kitchen, decent shower pressure), and that sauna… well, I probably used it more than I’d care to admit. If you’re the type who wants mountain access without the mountain town chaos, this spot gets it right.
