Приватна Садиба VINEMAX turned out to be a real discovery during my trip to the Carpathians. Located right in the center of Vorokhta on Danyla Halytskogo Street, this three-star estate wonderfully combines homey comfort with mountain charm. The owners are a very welcoming family who have created a special atmosphere here. Check-in went smoothly (we arrived around six in the evening), and you could immediately notice the attention to detail — from embroidered towels to the smell of freshly baked pancakes from the kitchen.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with nice views of the mountains or the courtyard with vineyards (that’s probably where the name comes from). I especially loved the wooden veranda where you can sit with coffee in the morning — the view is incredible, especially in autumn when the leaves turn yellow. Parking is free right by the building, which is very convenient since it can be problematic in Vorokhta sometimes. Wi-Fi works reliably even on the second floor. On the downside — the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear neighbors, but nothing critical, just something to keep in mind. Breakfast is served by arrangement — homemade, hearty, with local products.
The location is perfect for those planning an active vacation. It’s about ten minutes walk to the ski lift, even less to the center. The owners are happy to tell you about local trails and interesting places — it was from them that I learned about a wonderful path to a waterfall that few people know about. In winter, it’s probably especially cozy here with the fireplace and hot mulled wine. For the price and with a rating of 8.0 — this is really a good option for a family vacation in the mountains.
Hotels in the Carpathians provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Hutsul crafts and experience daily life in historic mountain villages.
