Located on Rudneva Street, this three-star guesthouse welcomes guests with genuine Hutsul hospitality. The owners are a local family who have lovingly arranged every corner. The rooms are decorated in traditional style with wooden furniture and colorful carpets, but still have all necessary amenities. Wi-Fi works reliably (which isn’t always a given in the mountains), and hot water is available 24/7.
The kitchen is particularly impressive — they prepare incredibly delicious Hutsul cuisine here. You absolutely must try the banush and homemade sausages for breakfast! The hostess Maria (that’s her name) is always happy to tell you about local hiking trails and show you where to buy the best souvenirs. The guesthouse has a small but cozy courtyard with a gazebo where it’s pleasant to sit in the evening with a cup of tea and look at the stars. Parking is free right by the house — very convenient, especially in winter. Vorokhta itself is a wonderful place for vacation: it’s close to the ski lifts, and the air here is simply incredible. The only downside — the walls are a bit thin, so you can sometimes hear neighbors, but this is more a characteristic of old Hutsul houses rather than a hotel flaw.
