Just got back from Privat-Villa in Mykulychyn, and I have to say — this is a real gem in the Carpathians! This four-star hotel is located on Hrushevsky Street, and from the first glance, it’s clear that everything here is thought out to the smallest detail. The hosts are very attentive — they met us personally, showed us where it’s more convenient to park the car (this is important because the street is quite narrow), and immediately offered us hot tea after the journey.
The rooms here are truly cozy, with wooden elements that create that very Carpathian atmosphere you come here for. The windows face the mountains — the morning views are simply incredible, especially in autumn when the forest plays with all shades of yellow and red. The bathroom has everything you need, hot water is constant (I checked — even late in the evening there were no problems). Wi-Fi works stably, which is important if you need to stay connected. The only nuance — the walls aren’t very thick, so if neighbors are noisy, it can be audible, but we were lucky with quiet neighbors.
Breakfast is served in a cozy dining room — nothing extraordinary, but everything is fresh and tasty. Classic Ukrainian breakfast with local products, which is especially pleasant. The staff is always ready to suggest where it’s better to go for a walk or where to taste real Hutsul cuisine in the surroundings. It’s about a five-minute leisurely walk to the center of Mykulychyn, even closer to the bus stop. In winter, it would probably be especially cozy — the fireplace in the lobby looks very attractive. For this money and with such service, I’ll definitely come back here again!
