What really impressed me was how well-maintained everything felt. For a 3-star place, the attention to detail surprised me – the kitchenette actually had proper cookware (not just those flimsy tourist apartment basics), and the bathroom had decent water pressure, which you can’t always count on in older Zakopane buildings. The heating worked perfectly too, which is crucial if you’re visiting during ski season when temperatures drop well below freezing. I stayed there in February and never once had to pile on extra blankets or worry about cold drafts. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout the apartment, even worked fine for video calls when I needed to check in with work.

The location really shines if you know Zakopane at all – you’re close enough to walk to the cable car stations for both Kasprowy Wierch and Gubałówka without needing to drive or take crowded buses. There’s a decent grocery store just a few minutes away on foot, and several restaurants within easy walking distance that locals actually frequent (not just the tourist traps). The area gets quiet at night, which I appreciated after long days hiking or skiing. During peak summer and winter seasons, you’ll definitely want to book well in advance because places like this that offer both good location and parking tend to fill up fast. That perfect 10 rating might seem too good to be true, but after spending several nights there, I can see why guests are consistently happy – it’s one of those places that just gets the basics right without trying to be something it’s not.
