The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort that I really appreciated. Nothing feels too precious or hotel-sterile, which makes sense since these are proper apartments, not just hotel rooms with kitchenettes slapped in. The kitchens are actually functional – I mean, you can cook real meals here, not just heat up instant noodles. And honestly, after a day of hiking in the Tatras, being able to come back and make yourself a proper dinner while looking out at the mountains? That’s worth its weight in gold.
