Prestige Apartamenty Przy Potoku Centrum

Rating:
HOTEL OVERVIEW
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Prestige Apartamenty Przy Potoku Centrum on Struga street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the unassuming spots end up surprising you, and this one actually grew on me during my stay in Zakopane.
The location is what really makes this place work. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the main pedestrian zone – I mean, you can practically hear the street musicians from Krupówki if you open your windows on a busy evening. But here’s the thing that locals know and tourists don’t always realize: being on Struga puts you close enough to everything without dealing with the absolute chaos that happens right in the thick of things, especially during ski season or those summer hiking months when Zakopane gets completely packed. I could grab my morning coffee and pastries from that little bakery around the corner (honestly, their oscypek pastries are better than half the tourist traps), then wander over to the main drag when I felt like people-watching.
The apartments themselves are… well, they’re solid. Nothing fancy, but everything worked – and believe me, I’ve stayed in places where that wasn’t guaranteed. The kitchenette actually had decent-sized pots and pans, which was a relief since I’d planned to cook a few meals rather than eat out every night (your wallet will thank you in Zakopane, trust me). The bathroom was recently updated, I think, because the fixtures looked newer than the rest of the place. What I really appreciated was how quiet it got at night – you’d think being this close to the center would mean noise until all hours, but the building’s positioned in a way that buffers most of the street sounds. Though I’ll warn you, if you’re here during Highlander Festival or New Year’s, all bets are off for peace and quiet anywhere in this town.
Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven around Zakopane’s narrow streets will appreciate. The check-in process was straightforward – no hanging around a lobby for ages, just got the keys and settled in. The woman at reception spoke decent English and actually gave me some useful tips about which trails to hit early before the crowds (take the cable car up Kasprowy Wierch first thing in the morning if you’re here in summer). It’s not going to win any design awards, and yeah, it’s got that slightly communist-era apartment building vibe from the outside, but inside it feels more modern and comfortable than you’d expect. For the price point and the location, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the Tatras or wandering around town anyway, it does the job quite well.

Apartament urządzony z gustem, w stylu trochę góralskim. Widok na stronę Gubałówki. Przede wszystkim jest bardzo czysto. Do centrum Miasta ok 10min wolnym spacerkiem, wszędzie blisko. Mamy dwa osobne pokoje- salon z aneksem kuchennym ze wszystkim co potrzeba na wyposażeniu, osobną sypialnię. Jedyny mały minusik - gospodarz powinien zadbać o stronę...
