I stayed in one of the upper floor units, and honestly, the view toward the Karkonosze peaks made me forget I was paying guesthouse prices instead of hotel rates. The floors creak a little when you walk around, which some people might find annoying, but I actually found it charming – reminded me this is a real building with some history, not some sterile chain property. The heating works properly too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with mountain weather that can shift from sunny to freezing in about twenty minutes.

Here’s the thing about staying here – you’re genuinely walking distance from everything that matters in Karpacz. I’m talking five minutes to the chairlift base if you’re heading up to Śnieżka, maybe three to grab a proper Polish breakfast at one of the local spots that aren’t tourist traps. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak season (summer hiking months and winter skiing), but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re willing to walk a little. The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it nails everything it’s actually supposed to do. Clean, comfortable, well-located, and run by someone who actually cares about whether you have a good stay.
