I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Pokoje Bukowiec Folwark i Park on Robotnicza Street – honestly, the name’s a bit of a mouthful and the location seemed pretty off the beaten path. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special that most tourists completely miss.
The whole setup has this authentic Polish countryside vibe that you just can’t fake. I mean, we’re talking about a real folwark here – that’s essentially a historic farm estate for those who don’t know – and they’ve managed to preserve that character while making it comfortable for modern travelers. The park surrounding the property is gorgeous, especially in the late afternoon when the light filters through the trees just right. I spent way more time than I planned just wandering around the grounds, and honestly, it felt more like staying at someone’s country home than a typical hotel. The rooms themselves are clean and well-maintained, nothing fancy but everything you need, and the fact that this place consistently gets a 9 rating tells you something about how they treat their guests.
What really sets this place apart is the location – you’re in Bukowiec, which is small enough that locals probably know each other by name, but you’re still close enough to bigger towns when you need supplies or want to explore. The parking situation is actually great (something you don’t always get with these countryside places), and the whole area is genuinely peaceful. I slept better here than I had in weeks, partly because there’s no city noise but also because there’s something about the place that just makes you relax. The check-in was smooth too – the staff clearly know what they’re doing and seem to genuinely care about making sure you’re comfortable. If you’re looking for that authentic Polish countryside experience without sacrificing comfort, and you don’t mind being a bit removed from the hustle and bustle, this is exactly the kind of place that’ll make your trip memorable for all the right reasons.

Ornamental Farm Bukowiec w Dolinie Pałaców i Ogrodów to piękne miejsce, a pobyt z okazji Festival dell'Arte wyśmienity. Grupa z Krakowa i ja jesteśmy zachwyceni. Pozdrawiamy :-)

What could be improved: śniadania mogłyby być od godziny 8 do 10. (obecnie było 9-10). ta 9 to trochę późno zwłaszcza jak się podróżuje z małym dzieckiem.

Piękne miejsce w środku ogromnego parku, pokój z widokiem na park i Śnieżkę, przy otwartym oknie słychać tylko ptaki i żaby. Miejsce w którym można naprawdę odpocząć. Pyszne śniadania i bardzo miła Pani, która rano obsługiwała kuchnię. Pokój duży, czysty, pachnie nowością. Miejsce, do którego wrócimy. What could be improved: Skrzypiące materace :)...

Przepiękna okolica, wyjątkowe krajobrazy, na całym terenie dbałość o każdy szczegół zarówno florystyczny jak i architektoniczny, przyjazna obsługa...no i przecudowna manager Pani Marta niezwykle oddana pracy,życzliwa i empatyczna zarówno w stosunku do ludzi jak i zwierząt.

Ein geschmackvoll restauriertes Haus in einer wunderbar romantischen Kulturlandschaft. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück reichhaltig und sehr schmackhaft. Der Ort ist sehr empfehlenswert und für mich jederzeit eine Reise wert.

Bardzo czysto. W pokoju i całym obiekcie. What could be improved: Pokój opłacony dla 3 osób-były 2 ręczniki kąpielowe, dwie herbaty, brak kawy (byłby wielki problem, gdybyśmy tam nie przyjechali samochodem)-nawet brak informacji, że nie ma kawy. Brak informacji, że pokoje są na drugim piętrze bez windy, co dla osób z problemami z poruszaniem się...
