The Valle Lunga area (that’s what the street name translates to) is actually where the smart travelers stay because you avoid the chaos of the main tourist strips but you’re still walking distance from everything that matters. The cable cars, the ski schools, even the après-ski scene — it’s all right there without the noise and crowds.
The Apartment Experience

The kitchen is what really sold me on the place, especially after a long day on the mountain when the last thing you want is to hunt for an overpriced restaurant. I stayed with my family in this magnificent apartment, and I am very happy to write this review.
The apartment is located just steps away from the Poiana Brașov ski resort. Its location allows you to easily get around on foot to reach not only the slopes but also restaurants, mini markets, and other points of interest. However, it also has a parking area for cars. The welcome was outstanding, a 10/10, and the presentation of the house, done in person, was equally excellent. Inside, the apartment is perfectly organized, cozy, warm, and equipped with many amenities, from the ski storage area on the lower floor to the kitchen appliances and utensils. The apartment is just as beautiful as in the photos, if not more so; it’s a place that makes you fall in love thanks to its comfort and the activities Poiana Brașov has to offer.
A place I would recommend to everyone and would definitely return to.
Beautiful apartment, perfectly clean and in perfect condition, with everything you could need for a pleasant stay. Quiet environment and close to restaurants and slopes. Thank you for the welcome in Poiana Brasov, we relaxed and enjoyed it very much.
The apartment was exceptionally clean, to the point where every corner was shining. The convenience of having two bathrooms was a big plus, especially with a young child. We were impressed with the reliable and fast internet connection, as well as the modern TVs equipped with casting functions.
A standout feature for us was the well-designed locker room in the basement, tailored for winter sports enthusiasts. It was incredibly convenient to change there and store our ski equipment, including a special rack for warming our ski boots.
The flexible checkout process was also greatly appreciated, as it allowed us to manage our time without stress. Lastly, the walk-in shower with a view of the forest was a nice touch.
Overall, our stay was comfortable, convenient, and enhanced by these thoughtful amenities. It was perfect for our family, and we would highly recommend Apartment 5 to others visiting Poiana Brasov.
The apartment it’s very nice and clean, close to the center
New, modern apartment, looking at woods. The aparment has everything you need to feel like you are home. People are very kind. The apartment has parking place in front of the building. The right place to spend your vacation to remember. Near ski slopes - it is very well organised. After skiing, we went to visit Brasov ( 15min by car) - beautiful city and Bran ( 25min by car). We had wonderful time!
We traveled to Poiana Brasov with our 2 kids (3 and 6 yrs old). Booked five nights and were generously given an extra free night by our super friendly hosts, who assisted us in any possible way and made our stay even more memorable in the 1-bedroom apartment. The apartment was fabulous, beautifully decorated, comfy and clean, well-equipped, located in a quiet part of Poiana Brasov, still very close to the ski lifts with a private and secure parking spot. Just perfect for the family with young kids. Highly recommended for similar travelers.
Poiana Brasov itself is a beautiful area that offers plenty of outdoor activities, and castles to visit, and a Dino Park for kids nearby, and only a 15 minute drive from Brasov historic city center.
The attention to details of the host was absolutely amazing. We had everything we needed in a perfect new and clean location. Everything sparkled: from towels, sheets, to wet toilet wipes, a fully equipped kitchen, coffee&coffee machine, toaster, honey, sugar, books to read and games (Remy/cards/coloring books). They waited for us with a sparkling bottle of wine and candy.
The location was right next to restaurants and 5 minutes walk to the cable 🚡.
We had two bathrooms (one with only toilet and sink, and the second with shower, toilet, sink).
The balcony was really nice too, with 2 puffs and a bench and coffee table, and both rooms open to the the balcony. In the living there is also a foldable couch that was open and transformed to a 140 x 200 cm comfy bed for the child.
The space was large. There were wardrobes both in the living and the bedroom. TV's in both rooms. Large dining table and large fridge. Temperature could be set separately in the two rooms.
We really felt welcome and at home. Thank you!
