Ocnei (locals call it “the morning spot” – no actual name on the door) and be back with pastries before most hotel guests even figured out where breakfast was served. The 9.2 rating makes sense once you’ve been there; it’s not fancy, but everything works exactly like it should. Daniel’s got recommendations for everything – where to get the best mici, which wine bars stay open late, even helped me sort out parking when I couldn’t figure out the medieval street system. There’s this tiny courtyard out back where you can sit with a drink in the evenings, and honestly, after a day of wandering around Sibiu’s tourist trails, it’s exactly the kind of quiet spot you need to decompress.
