The whole Karkonosze region has this incredible hiking culture, and staying here felt like I was plugged into that rather than just observing it from some big resort. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the breakfast conversations were actually interesting – you end up talking to people who are here because they love the mountains, not because they booked the first place they found online.
