You can actually stroll to most of the main attractions without needing to figure out parking every single time, and trust me, mountain town parking can be a real headache during peak season. The staff seemed genuinely local – not just imported hospitality robots – and they had solid recommendations for hiking trails that weren’t completely overrun with tour groups. I mean, the popular spots are popular for good reason, but sometimes you want that quieter morning coffee spot, you know? What really sold me on this place was the attention to small stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The Wi-Fi actually worked consistently (crucial for those of us who can’t completely disconnect), and the rooms had proper blackout situations for sleeping in after long hiking days. The bathrooms were surprisingly spacious too – I’ve stayed in places where you practically had to back out slowly like you’re parallel parking.

Honestly, with an 8.4 rating, I was prepared for some quirks or compromises, but the issues were really minor. The breakfast timing was a bit earlier than I’m used to, and there were some street sounds in the morning – but that’s just mountain town life, really. The location puts you close enough to hear the town waking up, which I actually found kind of charming after the first day. If you’re planning to explore the Sudetes or just want a base that feels more like staying somewhere real rather than a generic mountain resort, this works really well. It’s got that local feel without sacrificing the basics you need when you’re traveling.
