You’re literally a 10-minute drive from all the hiking trails and ski lifts, but you get to come back to this peaceful spot where locals actually live and work. The owners clearly know their business too; that 8.9 rating isn’t just luck. They’ve got this knack for making the place feel homey without being unprofessional – like, the breakfast setup is proper and well-organized, but someone will remember how you like your coffee after the second day.

What really won me over was the attention to practical stuff that matters when you’re actually traveling, not just looking at pretty photos online. The parking situation is sorted (no hunting for spots on narrow mountain roads), the rooms are genuinely quiet – I mean, you’ll hear birds in the morning, not traffic – and the whole place has that solid, well-maintained feel that tells you they take care of things before they break. The location on Malinowa puts you close enough to walk into Kowary’s center for dinner, but far enough that you’re not dealing with any street noise. Plus, if you’re into hiking or skiing, you’ll appreciate coming back somewhere that feels like a proper retreat rather than just another overnight stop. It’s the kind of place where you might actually want to hang around for an extra day instead of rushing off to the next destination.
