Just returned from Oryavchik Country House and I can say — it’s a real gem for those looking for peaceful relaxation away from city hustle. This three-star hotel is located in the picturesque village of Oryavchyk in Transcarpathia, and the atmosphere here is truly special. The building looks like a typical Carpathian homestead — wooden elements, cozy veranda, lots of greenery around. Parking is free right at the entrance (which is very convenient if you’re driving), and the reception staff is always ready to help with local routes or restaurant recommendations.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, though don’t expect luxurious interiors — everything here is done in a simple but cozy style. Wi-Fi works stably, hot water is always available, air conditioning does its job. Breakfast is served in a small dining room — nothing fancy, but tasty and filling: traditional dishes, fresh bread, local cheeses. The only thing to note — the walls aren’t very thick, so if neighbors are active, it might be a bit noisy in the evening. Overall, for this price and in such a scenic location, it’s a wonderful option for a short getaway or as a base for exploring Transcarpathia.
