Overview
You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Karpacz, but Orlik VIP Residence actually surprised me – and honestly, with a name that long, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The thing is, they weren’t kidding about that Śnieżka view. When you wake up and open those curtains, you’re staring right at the highest peak in the Sudetes, and I mean, it’s the kind of view that makes you grab your coffee and just stand there for a minute.
The location on Strażacka is pretty clever actually – you’re close enough to the Wang (that Norwegian stave church everyone talks about) that you can walk there in maybe ten minutes, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you’re not dealing with crowds of people walking past your window all day. The ski lift access is legit too; during winter season, you can practically roll out of bed and be on the slopes. I stayed there in early March, and while the snow was getting a bit slushy by afternoon, the morning runs were perfect. What I really appreciated was the apartment setup – it’s not just a hotel room, you know? There’s actual space to spread out, a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from the Biedronka down the hill instead of eating out every meal. The furnishings are nice without being fussy, and honestly, the whole place feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel.
Here’s what I didn’t expect – the sound insulation is actually really good. I was worried about noise since Karpacz can get pretty lively, especially on weekends when everyone comes up from Wrocław, but the apartments are surprisingly quiet. The only sounds you’ll hear are maybe some birds in the morning and the occasional car on Strażacka, which isn’t a busy street anyway. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Karpacz in summer will tell you is not always a given. The 9.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s one of those places that gets the details right without trying too hard to impress you. The check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually works (crucial if you’re trying to upload those Śnieżka summit photos), and the whole experience just felt… well, comfortable. If you’re planning to spend time hiking the trails or hitting the slopes rather than hanging around your accommodation all day, this is exactly the kind of place you want to come back to.

Good location with a beautiful view. The modern apartment is not big but is equipped with everything you need. I can recommend it!
What could be improved: We had a small issue with receiving the entry code for the apartment and had to wait about 30 minutes until the problem was resolved. There was a misunderstanding. Having an oven would be an advantage, but it’s a minor drawback.

Nur stichwortartig: modern eingerichtete Zimmer, fast vollständige und neuwertige Ausstattung, in den 3 Tagen Aufenthalt fehlte es an nichts, bis auf etwas besseres Wetter :), sehr sauber, ausgesprochen ruhig (im Mai), bequemes Bett, viel Tageslicht durch große Fenster, eigener, dem Apartment zugewiesener Parkplatz. für TV Junkies umfangreiches Programmangebot (polnisch). Onlineempfang/Schlüsselübergabe: Die Dame am Telefon war sehr höflich, geduldig und freundlich. Badezimmer modern, großzügige Dusche, sauber. Ein Foto zeigt die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer.
What could be improved: Folgendes mehr neutral als negativ zu bewerten/Jammern auf hohen Niveau: Die Anonymität bei der Schlüsselübergabe. Für uns alten Säcke :) war das in diesem Fall etwas ungewohnt, aber es es klappte dann doch sehr gut. Wer die englische oder polnische Sprache gut beherrscht ist ganz klar im Vorteil. Das Gebäude ist derart "sicher", dass man Gedanken an Fort Knox entwickelt. :) Die Türen sind alle schwergängig, weil sie vermutlich die neuesten EU-Brandvorschriften erfüllen müssen. Wer das mag wird eine solche Anlage lieben und feiern. Im Apartment war es derart leise, dass man das Fallen einer Stecknadel hätte hören können. Das muss kein Nachteil sein. Die Zu- bzw Anfahrt war etwas schwierig, weil die Straße noch nicht im Navi enthalten war und GPS im Gebirge ab und zu ein Eigenleben entwickeln kann. Die direkte Autozufahrt ist sehr steil (etwas um 12%). Der Zugang vom Parkplatz zum Gebäude erfolgt über eine langgezogene Treppe. Nach der langen Fahrt hatte ich den Wunsch, dass die Treppe sich in einen Schräge ohne Stufen verwandeln möge. :) Es wäre sehr schön, wenn man hier einen stufenfreien Aufgang für die Rollkoffer vorgesehen hätte. Fußbodenheizung gilt im Zusammenhang mit Wärmepumpe und Co als en vogue/must have. für uns waren die Zimmer definitiv zu warm, vor allem das Schlafzimmer wollte nicht unter 23 Grad herunter, dagegen war das Bad etwas kühler, aber nicht kalt. Warum auch immer. Die TV Anlage ist großzügig und verlangt das Jonglieren mit drei Fernbedienungen. Wir hatten nur Anfangsprobleme mit dem Ton. Aber bei drei Fernbedienungen hat man eine breite Auswahl und Kombinationsmöglichkeiten. Mit etwas hartnäckigen Spieltrieb haben wir es aber irgendwie doch geschafft. Bedienungsanleitungen für TV, Kühlschrank, Herd (Induktionsherd) und Fußbodenheizung/Klima haben wir uns gewünscht.

Okolica jest niezwykle przyjemna – zielona, spokojna i pełna uroku. Apartament położony bardzo blisko szlaków turystycznych, co czyni go świetną bazą wypadową. Wnętrze urządzone z dużym wyczuciem – przytulnie, komfortowo i funkcjonalnie. Zdecydowanie polecam pobyt w apartamencie.
What could be improved: Jedyne, co wymaga poprawy, to jakość poduszek – były niewygodne i nie zapewniały odpowiedniego komfortu snu.

Wszystko mi się podobało w obiekcie. Jest parking i każdy ma przypisane miejsce, duże i ładne apartamenty, wyposażona kuchnia. Jest nawet odkurzacz i mop do podłogi . Żelazko, klimatyzacja, pralka, taras, klima. Nie można powiedzieć złego słowa . Pięknie umeblowane, lokalizacja obok wejścia na szlaki, przystanków autobusowych i blisko sklepów Żabka. Ośrodek widać z punktu widokowego Karpatka, jest chyba najwyżej położony. Z tarasu widać w oddali Gołębia. Naprawdę fajnie. Wrócimy na 100 %. Mieliśmy kłopot z kodem do drzwi, a wystarczy wcisnąć kluczyk jak w instrukcji. Wszystko było wyraźnie napisane. Jakoś do tego doszliśmy bez niczyjej pomocy :) Tak bardzo nowocześnie . Fajne oświetlenie , cichutko w sypialni.

Znakomita lokalizacja blisko głównych szlaków turystycznych, piękne widoki za oknem. Apartament o wysokim standardzie, czystość bez zarzutu. Bezproblemowe zameldowanie, wszystkie niezbędne informacje przekazywane na bieżąco.
