Okno na Śnieżkę – dwupoziomowy apartament by Przycup w Karkonoszach Apartamenty Apartament z widokiem na góry z parkingiem Apartament przy Wyciągu oraz przy Szlakach Turystycznych
You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of mountain places, but this two-level apartment in Karpacz honestly blew me away. First thing that hits you when you walk in – and I mean literally the moment you step through the door – is that view of Śnieżka peak. The name “Okno na Śnieżkę” means “Window to Śnieżka,” and they weren’t kidding around. It’s like having a front-row seat to the highest peak in the Sudetes, and honestly, I found myself just standing there with my coffee in the morning, staring out at it like some kind of mountain-obsessed tourist (which, let’s be real, I totally am).
The location on Strażacka street is actually perfect if you’re serious about hiking or skiing. I mean, you’re literally steps away from the ski lift – I could hear the gentle hum of it in the morning, which was oddly comforting rather than annoying. The hiking trails practically start from your doorstep, and after a full day trudging up to Śnieżka or exploring the Karkonosze trails, there’s something magical about coming back to your own little mountain retreat instead of some generic hotel room. The two-level setup gives you actual space to spread out – downstairs for hanging out, upstairs for sleeping, and parking right there so you don’t have to schlep your gear halfway across town. During peak season (July-August and winter holidays), this kind of convenience is honestly a godsend because Karpacz gets absolutely packed.
What really sets this place apart though – and this might sound weird – is how it feels like a real home rather than a rental property. The mountain air drifts in differently here, maybe because you’re up high enough to catch those alpine breezes, and the silence at night is the kind of deep quiet you only get in the mountains. I stayed during shoulder season in September, and while the weather was a bit unpredictable (pack layers, seriously), the apartment felt cozy when the mist rolled in around Śnieżka. The fact that it’s gotten perfect ratings doesn’t surprise me at all – everything just works the way it should, from the heating system to having enough space for all your hiking boots and winter gear. If you’re the type who comes to the Karkonosze to actually experience the mountains rather than just take Instagram photos, this is exactly the kind of base camp you want.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
