NL group apartments turned out to be a pleasant discovery during my trip to Kolomiya. This three-star accommodation is located on Mykhaila Drahomanova Street — a fairly quiet part of town, yet close to the center (about 15 minutes on foot). The owners are very welcoming and help with everything you need — from recommendations for local restaurants to organizing transfers. Free parking right next to the building is available, which is rare for this central part of the city.
The apartments themselves are spacious and clean, with everything necessary for comfortable living. The kitchen is fully equipped (there’s even a dishwasher!), so you can cook for yourself — especially convenient if you’re traveling with children. Wi-Fi works reliably, which is important for those working remotely. The only downside — you can sometimes hear neighbors upstairs, but overall the building is quiet, especially in the evenings.
The location is perfect for exploring Kolomiya: there are several supermarkets nearby, a pharmacy, and public transport stops. The main attractions — the Town Hall and the Pysanka Museum — are within easy walking distance. The hosts also recommend visiting the local market on Saturdays (five minutes from the apartments) — you can buy authentic Hutsul cheeses and homemade wine there. For the money and service, NL group apartments are definitely worth considering, especially if you’re planning to stay in Kolomiya for several days.
Hotels in the Carpathians provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Hutsul crafts and experience daily life in historic mountain villages.
