You can literally walk to Krupówki in about five minutes, which is clutch when you want to grab oscypek or hit the bars, but you’re far enough up the street that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 2 AM. The staff actually knows the hiking trails too – like, really knows them, not just the basic tourist stuff. They steered me toward some lesser-known routes that were absolutely worth it.

Here’s the thing though – this place gets busy during peak season (July-August and Christmas week), so book ahead if you can. The breakfast is better than it needs to be, honestly, with local specialties mixed in with the standard hotel fare. Parking can be a bit tight when it’s packed, but there’s usually space if you’re not rolling in super late. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night despite being so central – their soundproofing game is on point. The whole operation just feels like it’s run by people who actually live here and get what travelers want, rather than some corporate chain going through the motions. For a four-star place in Zakopane, especially with that 9-point rating, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for without any unpleasant surprises.
