Just got back from Mirotel Resort and Spa, and I can say it’s truly a five-star experience in the heart of Truskavets. The hotel sits right on Kobzar Square — perfect spot if you’re here for the mineral water treatments. You can literally walk to the main pump rooms and park in just a few minutes. They have their own parking (which is rare for downtown), though spots aren’t always available during peak season — better to arrive before lunch.
The rooms are genuinely spacious and modern, especially those overlooking the park. Staff is friendly, though reception can be a bit slow when tour groups are checking in. The spa center is a whole different story: the pool is nice, saunas work reliably, and the massage therapists really know their stuff. Breakfast has good variety (everything from cottage cheese pancakes to omelets), but the restaurant can get noisy in the morning with large tour groups. If you like quiet, grab a table by the window away from the entrance.
What I particularly enjoyed were the spa programs with local “Naftusya” water and ozokerite treatments. Not cheap, but effective, especially if you have joint or digestive issues. Winter is cozier and quieter at the hotel, spring-summer can get quite crowded. Overall, for the price-quality ratio in Truskavets — it’s a solid choice, especially if you want comfort and don’t want to travel far to the healing springs.
