When I first saw Mint Apartment Солнечное Закарпатье, I realized this was exactly what I needed for a vacation in the Carpathians. Located on Kurortna Street in Polyana, this three-star hotel turned out to be a real find for those seeking coziness without unnecessary pretensions. The apartments are spacious and bright, with everything needed for comfortable living — the kitchen is equipped with dishes, there’s a washing machine, Wi-Fi works stably (which isn’t always a given in the mountains). I especially liked being able to cook for myself — after a whole day of hiking in the surrounding areas, it’s very convenient.
The staff is friendly and unobtrusive, they checked us in quickly even though we arrived a bit earlier than the official check-in time. Parking is free right next to the building — a huge plus, especially in summer when Polyana is packed with tourists with cars. The only thing to note — the walls aren’t very thick, so if neighbors are noisy, it can be a bit loud in the evenings. But overall it’s not critical, especially considering the price-quality ratio.
The location is simply perfect for exploring Transcarpathia — it’s convenient to get to the Bukovel lift, and there are plenty of interesting trekking routes around. In winter it’s especially cozy here, summer is also wonderful, though it can be a bit crowded. The 8.0 out of 10 rating is well deserved — this is a place you want to return to. I recommend it to everyone who values a homely atmosphere and doesn’t need hotel service with white towels shaped like swans.
