Mini Hotel Zakrut turned out to be a pleasant discovery in Tatariv — a small cozy hotel that’s perfect for those seeking a homey atmosphere in the mountains. When I arrived here last winter, the hosts greeted me personally (which is rare for many places), and check-in was quick and without unnecessary bureaucracy. The rooms are small but thoughtfully designed — everything you need is there, including good Wi-Fi and hot water around the clock. The three-star level here shows in the quality of service rather than luxurious interiors.
The location on Mira Street is very convenient — you can reach Bukovel lifts in 10-15 minutes by car, and it’s about five minutes on foot to downtown Tatariv at most. Parking is free right at the hotel (a big plus in winter!), though spaces are limited, so it’s better to give advance notice of your arrival. Breakfasts here are homemade — nothing fancy, but tasty and filling, especially after an active day on the slopes. The hosts are happy to advise where it’s best to ski or where to try local cuisine.
The only downside — walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are active, you can hear them. But overall the atmosphere is very peaceful, most guests are families or small groups. It’s also nice here in summer — you can hike in the mountains and sit on the terrace with tea in the evening. For this money in this area, it’s hard to find anything better, especially if you value personal approach more than marble lobbies.
Bukovel hotels range from luxurious mountain resorts to cozy lodges with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows.
