Milli&Jon SPA turned out to be a pleasant find in Bukovel — a three-star hotel that doesn’t pretend to be luxurious but does its job well. Located slightly away from the main hustle and bustle of the resort, in Urochyshche Staishchi, which gives a feeling of coziness and tranquility. Parking is free (which in Bukovel isn’t always a given), and there are enough spots even during high season. Check-in was quick, staff is friendly, though English isn’t their strong suit — but that rather adds to the authenticity.
Rooms are clean and quite spacious, though the design isn’t impressive — typical modern minimalism with wooden accents. What I liked — good soundproofing (you can barely hear neighbors) and decent mattresses. Wi-Fi works stably, hot water is always available, which is especially appreciated after a day on the slopes. The SPA area is small but functional — sauna, small pool, relaxation room. Nothing extraordinary, but after skiing it’s exactly what you need.
Breakfasts are more homestyle than restaurant-quality, but tasty and filling. There isn’t a huge selection, but everything is fresh. It’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the lifts (or you can use the hotel’s shuttle — convenient when carrying equipment). In winter the area looks magical, in summer it’s probably nice too for those who love mountains without tourist crowds. For the price and location — quite a decent option, especially if you’re looking for peace after an active day.
To book a hotel in the Carpathians during the popular ski season in Bukovel, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the region attracts mountain landscape enthusiasts and active recreation lovers from across the country.
