What struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic Romanian charm without making you feel like you’re roughing it. The rooms are small (this is a 3-star place, after all), but they’re thoughtfully put together. Parking can be tricky (it’s Old Town, after all), but there’s a decent-sized lot about five minutes away on foot. The 9.6 rating isn’t just because it’s pretty – it’s because the little things work. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually functioned throughout the building, and when I had a question about local bus routes, the front desk person knew the answer off the top of their head.
