Luxury Glam Apartments Coresi Mall Area
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Luxury Glam Apartments” on Strada Ștefan Baciu, I was expecting some over-the-top place trying too hard to impress. But honestly? This spot actually delivers, and that 9.3 rating isn’t just marketing fluff.
The location is what really got me. You’re tucked into this whole Top City Complex area (yeah, the name’s a bit much, but stick with me), and it’s actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Brașov rather than just visiting. Coresi Mall is right there – I mean, literally a few minutes walk – which sounds touristy but is actually where locals do their shopping too. Plus, and this is key, you’re close enough to the old town that you can walk there in about 15 minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with all the tourist crowds and noise at night. The tram line runs nearby too, so getting around the city is pretty straightforward.
What surprised me most was how… well, homey these apartments feel. The “glam” part isn’t some gaudy gold-everything situation – it’s more like someone with decent taste decided to make a really comfortable space. The kitchens are actually functional (you know how rare that is in hotel apartments), and there’s proper storage space, which you don’t realize you need until you’re living out of a suitcase for a week. The Wi-Fi works properly – I was on calls all day without issues – and the water pressure is solid. Small things, but they matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s tried to park near Brașov’s center will appreciate.
I stayed during shoulder season in October, so I can’t speak to how crazy it gets in summer when everyone’s hitting up nearby Poiana Brașov, but the area felt pleasantly quiet in the evenings. You get some street noise during the day – it’s a city, after all – but nothing that kept me awake. The staff was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that over-the-top hospitality theater, just helpful people who knew the area and could point you toward good restaurants that aren’t just tourist traps. They recommended this little place called Sergiana that’s about a 10-minute walk away, and honestly, it was better than anything I found in the main square.
Here’s the thing – this isn’t going to be your Instagram-worthy boutique hotel experience, but if you want a really solid base for exploring Brașov (and maybe day trips to the castles), this works incredibly well. The apartments feel like actual homes, the location gives you the best of both worlds between local life and tourist access, and the price point makes sense for what you’re getting. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer trip where I wanted to settle in rather than just crash between sightseeing marathons.
