Plus, and this is key, you’re close enough to the old town that you can walk there in about 15 minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with all the tourist crowds and noise at night. The tram line runs nearby too, so getting around the city is pretty straightforward.

What surprised me most was how… well, homey these apartments feel. The “glam” part isn’t some gaudy gold-everything situation – it’s more like someone with decent taste decided to make a really comfortable space. The kitchens are actually functional (you know how rare that is in hotel apartments), and there’s proper storage space, which you don’t realize you need until you’re living out of a suitcase for a week. The Wi-Fi works properly – I was on calls all day without issues – and the water pressure is solid. Small things, but they matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two.
