The neighborhood is quiet – mostly locals, some families – so don’t expect nightlife right outside, but that’s honestly refreshing after a day of exploring. Parking can be a bit tricky (welcome to European cities), but there’s usually street parking if you’re patient, and the hosts are pretty good about giving you the real scoop on where to leave your car.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail. The Wi-Fi actually works reliably – I was doing some remote work and had zero issues with video calls. The shower has proper water pressure, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. And the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night.
