You know what surprised me most about Living Home? It’s tucked away on Haralamb Georgescu Street in this quiet residential block, but you’re actually right in the heart of Cisnădie without all the tourist noise. I mean, when you first walk up to building B and take that elevator to the tenth floor, you’re not expecting much from a 3-star place – but honestly, this apartment completely changed my expectations.

The two-bedroom setup is perfect if you’re traveling with family or friends who actually want some space from each other (let’s be real, we all need that sometimes). Both bathrooms are properly functional – and I say that as someone who’s stayed in places where “two bathrooms” meant one working toilet and a glorified closet with a broken sink. The kitchen actually has everything you need, not just the bare minimum like most apartment rentals. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because there’s a little market just down the street, and honestly, it felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, which… you know how that goes with some places.

What really won me over was the location – Cisnădie isn’t one of those overhyped tourist traps, but it’s got this authentic Romanian charm that you miss when you stick to the big cities. You’re maybe twenty minutes from Sibiu if you want the full medieval experience, but here you get to see how people actually live. The neighborhood is quiet enough that you can sleep with the windows open (something I always test on the first night), and there’s decent parking on the street, which saved me from those nightmare hotel parking fees. The 9.6 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense either – the place is genuinely well-maintained, the host responds quickly when you need something, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to explore the Sibiu area but wanted somewhere more affordable and authentic as a base.
