Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Lake Hill Karkonosze Apartments on Tyrolska Street, I wasn’t expecting much. The address had me a bit confused (Сосновка sounds more Russian than Polish, doesn’t it?), but once you’re actually there, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty special. The building sits in this quiet pocket of the Karkonosze foothills where you can actually hear birds instead of traffic, which is saying something for this part of Poland.
What really got me was how the apartments manage to feel both mountain-cozy and surprisingly modern. I mean, you’ve got these big windows that frame the hills perfectly – honestly, I spent way too much time just staring out at the landscape with my morning coffee. The kitchens are actually functional too, not those tiny hotel kitchenettes where you can barely boil water. I ended up cooking a few meals because there’s a decent little market about ten minutes’ walk down the hill, and after a day of hiking, sometimes you just want to stay in, you know? The beds are proper comfortable, and here’s something I always notice – the walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing your neighbors’ conversations or their TV shows, which is honestly rare these days.
The location is what makes this place though. You’re close enough to the main Karkonosze trails that you can actually walk to some of the easier routes, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you feel like you’ve found a secret spot. Parking was never an issue when I was there – there’s this little lot that seems to always have space, unlike some of the places closer to the main resort areas where you’re circling for twenty minutes. The whole setup just works, especially if you’re planning to spend several days exploring the region rather than just passing through. Fair warning though – if you’re looking for hotel-style services like daily housekeeping or a front desk person available 24/7, this isn’t that kind of place. But honestly? That’s part of what makes it feel authentic. You get your keys, you settle in, and you live like a local for a while. The 9-star rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just really, really good at what it does.

Very pleasant people, especially Bartek. Clean room (appartment). Restaurant good, large dishes, even the starters (shrimps and mussels). Delicious! Swimming pool, great! Just everything was great.
What could be improved: The road to get to Lake Hill was awful. Highway is good but after you get of the highway the avoiding and swerving starts. A lot of holes in the road.

What could be improved: there was no ventilator in the bathroom and also there was a gap (useless space) between the floor and the door so not enough privacy, you could hear everything from the other room

It was a fantastic holiday in a beautiful apartment, comfy beds, lovely shower.
We booked half board and enjoyed breakfast and diner very much.
Everything was clean and smelled good. The SPA area was also clean and we spent very relaxing hours there.
The nature gave it's best and the view was just amazing every day.
It is in a very good location for walks.
We loved it and would come back.
What could be improved: You need some patient if you want to order a drink for your diner.

Everything is close to perfect.
What could be improved: The shower cabin has no door and a lot of water leaks to the bathroom floor during taking shower. This is the only not so perfect thing in Lake Hill Apartments.

Nice and spacious apartment. With big living room and balcony. Unfortunately we had a cheaper room without view on the mountains. Apartment was clean and had functional kitchen with small fridge and electric stove. Breakfasts in hotel restaurant were good. Big plus was wellness area when you can relax after hiking.
What could be improved: Room was very modern and clean but walls in some places were damaged. Probably by moving furniture around. It's nothing bad but it contrasting overall cleanness.

The location is amazing! Apartment is very good.
What could be improved: It would be nice to have at least one towels change for such period included in price. Same for the room cleaning.
