When I first pulled up to La Gigi on Strada 13 Decembrie, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star boutique hotel. You’re close enough to walk to the main square and all the tourist attractions (I mean, the Black Church is basically a pleasant 10-minute stroll), but you’re tucked away on a quieter street where you can actually get some sleep. I noticed tons of couples during my stay, and honestly, it makes sense. There’s something romantic about being able to wander back from dinner in the old town without dealing with the chaos of staying right in the thick of things.

The Room Experience
