Kyivska Russ Resort Medical&Spa

Kyivska Russ Resort Medical & Spa turned out to be a real discovery during our trip to the Carpathians. Located right in the center of Skhidnitsa on Shevchenko Street, this four-star hotel combines therapeutic relaxation with genuine mountain coziness. Parking is free and spacious — a big plus, especially in summer when the resort is packed with tourists. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and ready to help with any questions (they even suggested the best hiking routes around the area).

The SPA center here really works — mineral baths and massages after a full day of mountain hiking became a real lifesaver for us. The rooms are comfortable, though somewhat simply decorated, but this adds authenticity rather than detracts from the experience. The only thing that might be annoying — in the mornings you can hear tour buses bustling about, but if you’re not one to sleep until noon, it’s not a problem. The restaurant serves delicious home-cooked food — definitely try the local borscht and Carpathian cheese. It’s especially beautiful here in autumn when the leaves change colors and the air becomes crystal clear. For this price and quality of service, it fully deserves its 8-point rating.
